Holland & Hart Names John Husband As Chair Of Management Committee

DENVER (January 4, 2008) - The Rocky Mountain regional law firm of Holland & Hart LLP elected John Husband as the next Chair of its Management Committee, effective January 1, 2008. Husband succeeds Paul Phillips, who served as Chair since 2004. Holland & Hart is the largest law firm based in the Rocky Mountain West with nearly 375 attorneys practicing in 14 offices in seven states and Washington, D.C. 

An attorney in Holland & Hart's Denver office since 1978, Husband is a nationally-recognized and honored labor and employment attorney and Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Husband has been named among the Best Lawyers in America and Colorado Super Lawyers. He was also named in Denver Business Journal's Best of the Bar. Throughout his term as Chair, he will maintain his active employment practice, assisting employers to meet the challenges of the modern workplace by developing practical business solutions that maintain compliance with federal and state laws regulating the employment relationship.

During Phillips' term, the firm grew substantially and opened three new offices in Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Nev., and Reno, Nev. Phillips will now return to his full-time environmental practice.
