Holland & Hart Named Finalist for Business-Ethics Awards

DENVER (December 15, 2008) Holland & Hart was listed as a finalist in the annual Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance awards with 15 other for-profit businesses. Holland & Hart was the only law firm to be included in the list of finalists.

The CEBA awards recognize organizations and individuals who strive to operate ethically and honorably. The firm was selected as a finalist for how it has leveraged available resources to create significant social and ethical impact, its approach to environmental stewardship, social responsibility and community service, and for how it has dealt with challenges, adversity and ethical dilemmas in the past.

Students from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and the University of Colorado Denver are conducting interviews with the finalists in the last step of the nomination process, which will determine the winners of each award. Winners will be announced March 26, 2009 at a luncheon at the Marriott City Center in downtown Denver.

About CEBA
Since its 1991 start, the CEBA annual awards program has grown to become the largest single event of its kind in the United States. The organization has honored over 100 business organizations from the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, as well as business and civic leaders. The mission of the Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance program is to promote ethical business conduct for the benefit of the workplace, the marketplace, the environment, and the community. This is accomplished through educational programming and recognizing companies and individuals exemplifying these standards.
