Holland & Hart Named Best of State

SALT LAKE CITY (April 27, 2007) - Holland & Hart LLP won a 2007 Best of State medal for excellence in legal services. The firm, along with all award winners, will be recognized at the Best of State Awards Gala on Saturday, May 19th.

The Best of State Awards recognize outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses in Utah. Judges look for nominees that excel in their endeavors, use innovative approaches or methods, and contribute to a better quality of life in Utah. Award winners are broken into 10 categories ranging from Education to Business Services.

Holland & Hart was recognized for its accomplishments in business, including its innovative pro bono activities, advances in technology, in-house graphic and trial consultants, overall firm growth, and individual attorney achievements. The firm was also recognized for its contributions to the Salt Lake City community through the Holland & Hart Foundation, Tuesday Night Bar legal services, and LDS Hispanic Initiative.

The Best of State award recognizes our core values and commitment to client service, innovative practices, and the Salt Lake City community," said Mona Burton, administrative partner of Holland & Hart's Salt Lake City office. Ms. Burton was named as one of 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business in 2006.

The firm's Salt Lake City office has grown to more than 40 attorneys and was recently ranked as the top law firm in Utah by a local business magazine. Twenty-one Holland & Hart attorneys were included in this year's "Utah Legal Elite" six were listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, and seven were included in The Best Lawyers in America.
