DENVER (July 14, 2008) - Holland & Hart LLP was once again named among America’s top pro bono law firms, according to The American Lawyer's Pro Bono Scorecard. The publication ranked the firm as the no. 4 firm in the country based on pro bono hours. For the last decade, since the inception of this list, Holland & Hart has consistently been ranked among the top eight firms in the nation for pro bono work.
In 2007, each Holland & Hart attorney worked an average of 112.4 pro bono hours, and over 95 percent of the firm's attorneys handled more than 20 hours of pro bono work. Nationwide, only 10 firms posted averages greater than 110 pro bono hours and just five firms had greater than 90 percent of their attorneys accumulate more than 20 pro bono hours. Holland & Hart was one of only three firms that surpassed 95 percent.
Holland & Hart is the largest firm based in the Mountain West to be included in the pro bono rankings as well as The American Lawyer's list of 200 leading law firms, which was published earlier this year. For more information on The American Lawyer pro bono rankings, please visit www.law.com.
