Holland & Hart Expands Tax and Benefits Team in Denver

The firm welcomes Associates James Dunn, Benjamin Gibbons, and Kate Percy

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce the addition of Denver associates James Dunn, Benjamin Gibbons, and Kate Percy to the firm’s expanding tax and benefits practice. Each of these lawyers brings diverse life and legal experiences that broaden the firm’s tax and benefits team and practice area adding immediate value to our clients.

James Dunn develops and implements sophisticated strategies to help high net worth clients preserve their wealth. James focuses his practice on estate planning and wealth transfer planning. He regularly counsels individuals and families, estates and trusts, and closely-held businesses. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, James served as a law clerk to former Chief Justice Michael A. Cherry (retired) of the Nevada Supreme Court.

Benjamin Gibbons counsels employers on a broad range of qualified retirement plan, health and welfare plan and other employee benefits arrangements, as well as executive compensation matters. He provides advice on the design, implementation and administration of qualified retirement plans, welfare benefit plans and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Ben was an associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston, MA. In addition, Ben has over a decade of public accounting experience and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts. Ben is temporarily authorized to practice in Colorado pending admission under C.R.C.P. 205.6.

Kate Percy focuses her practice on estate and wealth transfer planning for high net worth individuals and families. She helps clients achieve their personal, financial, and tax planning goals and regularly advises clients on the development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies for the management and transfer of private wealth. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Kate was a Business and Real Estate attorney at Sherman & Howard.
