Holland & Hart earns a perfect 100 score again on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's annual assessment of LGBTQ+ workplace equality
Holland & Hart proudly announced that it received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation's foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Holland & Hart joins the ranks of 545 major US businesses that also earned top marks this year.
"We appreciate HRC's efforts to help further LGBTQ+ equality by focusing on emerging best practices and policies that help organizations like Holland & Hart remain at the forefront of workplace inclusion," said Phyllis Wan, Holland & Hart's Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. "We are very proud that Holland & Hart's efforts in satisfying all of CEI's criteria resulted in the firm being designated an Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion."
The CEI rates companies, ranging from Fortune magazine's 500 largest publicly traded businesses to Am Law 200 firms, and hundreds of publicly and privately held mid- to large-sized businesses on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:
- Non-discrimination policies across business entities;
- Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families;
- Supporting an inclusive culture; and,
- Corporate social responsibility.
RaShawn "Shawnie" Hawkins, Human Rights Campaign Senior Director of Workplace Equality says, "Our goal at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation is to work in a spirit of partnership with companies, providing educational resources and leading benchmarking, and collaborating on ways for businesses to support the LGBTQ+ community at a time when we face unprecedented legislative attacks, heightened anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric and physical violence."
