DENVER (July 18, 2007) - Holland & Hart LLP attorneys Michael Brennan, Robert Connery, James Holtkamp, and Paul Phillips were named leading attorneys for environmental issues by The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers.
The attorneys selected for this honor were nominated by their peers as the world's leading practitioners in environmental law. Less than 315 attorneys worldwide are included in this year's publication. Of these attorneys, Holland & Hart has more attorneys named than any other firm in the Rocky Mountain region.

He has been active in the environmental and natural resources field since 1983, and he has broad experience with all aspects of the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act and their application to natural resource development activities.
Connery, an attorney in the firm's Denver office, has practiced environmental law for the last 41 years, including environmental planning, permitting, and compliance work on major industrial and mining projects as well as environmental litigation. He is one of Colorado's most highly nominated attorneys.
Holtkamp is the Chair of the firm's Environmental Compliance and Global Climate Change groups as well as a partner in the firm's Salt Lake City office. He has actively represented industry and government clients in various environmental, natural resources and project development issues.
Phillips is a partner in the Denver office and the current Chairman of the firm's Management Committee. He has practiced environmental law and litigation for 30 years and was recognized for his toxic tort and soil and groundwater contamination work. In 2004, Phillips was named the "Best of the Bar" environmental attorney in Colorado by the Denver Business Journal.
