Holland & Hart Attorneys Appointed To State Boards

DENVER (June 29, 2007) - Governor Ritter appointed two Holland & Hart attorneys to Colorado State Boards. Anthony Navarro was appointed to the Board of Real Estate Appraisers and Scott Martinez was appointed to the Collection Agency Board.

Navarro is an appellate and trial attorney in Holland & Hart's Denver office. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Appellate Division of the Criminal Justice Section of the Colorado Attorney General's Office. As a member of the Board of Real Estate Appraisers, he will work with the licensing, regulation and enforcement agency for the real estate brokerage, appraisal and mortgage broker industries.

Martinez, also an attorney in the Denver office, focuses his practice on the intersection of law and politics. He represents individuals and businesses in campaign finance, election law, and local government matters in Federal and State courts in Colorado. As the board member for the Collection Agency, he will assist in making recommendations on appropriate actions against licensees, surety bond claims, and rulemaking.
