Holland & Hart Attorney John Maxfield Honored by Colorado Bar Association with Lifetime Achievement Award
Holland & Hart attorney John Maxfield was recently honored as recipient of the Colorado Bar Association – Tax Section’s James E. Bye Lifetime Achievement Award for a career marked by adherence to the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession, and for distinguishing himself in service and dedication to the improvement of the quality of the law, legal education, service to the Bar, and community involvement.

With almost 30 years of experience, Maxfield has provided tax advice on thousands of business transactions. The Best Lawyers in America® named Maxfield the Denver Tax Lawyer of the Year for 2013, and he is listed among the Top 100 Colorado Super Lawyers for 2012.

Maxfield is a member of the Board of Regents of the American College of Tax Counsel (representing the 10th Circuit). He is also a member of the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, a board member of Colorado Public Television, Channel 12, and former board chair of the Colorado Alzheimer’s Association.
