Holland & Hart Attorney Authors Business Entity Book

Holland & Hart Attorney Authors Business Entity Book

DENVER (June 26, 2006) - Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that attorney Robert Keatinge co-authored the recently-published Keatinge and Conaway on Choice of Business Entity.

This book advises attorneys, accountants and business planners on how to choose the most appropriate entity based on their client's particular type of new or existing business. In the text, Mr. Keatinge, his co-author Professor Ann E. Conaway of Widener University in Delaware and contributing author Bruce Ely of Bradley, Arant, Rose & White LLP of Birmingham, Alabama clearly explain the pros and cons of the forms and structures available, from traditional to often-overlooked alternative options.

Choosing the right business entity is an essential step to opening a business or changing the structure of a company. "Business owners must decide what form of business entity to establish in order to determine which income tax return to file," said Keatinge. "Whether opening a grocery store or a law practice partnership, Keatinge and Conaway on Choice of Business Entity discusses the different business structures available to any business and helps determine which option is most suitable for a particular organization."

Mr. Keatinge is Of Counsel in Holland & Hart's Denver office. He practices in the areas of business organizations, taxation and professional responsibility. He has represented a wide variety of business organizations and their owners from small start-up companies to publicly traded corporations. He has acted as an expert witness on matters of business organizations and professional responsibility. Mr. Keatinge has written and spoken nationally in the areas of business law, tax and professional responsibility, and co-authored another book, Ribstein and Keatinge on Limited Liability Companies. Both books are available for purchase from West publishing at west.thomson.com or 1-800-344-5009.
