Holland & Hart Adds Three Seasoned Healthcare Attorneys to the Firm’s Las Vegas Office

Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce Constance AkridgeMatthew Milone and Wayne R. Nippe have joined its Las Vegas office, bringing substantial experience to the firm’s healthcare practice.

For more than 20 years Constance Akridge has provided counsel on a wide variety of litigation and regulatory/administrative matters to insurance and healthcare clients.  She regularly advises HMOs, managed care organizations, health insurers, hospitals, physicians and ancillary providers regarding state and federal healthcare laws and regulations relating to licensing/authorization, mergers and acquisitions, integrated delivery system developments, fraud and abuse and privacy.  She frequently advises clients regarding strategies in responding to the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Akridge received an M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

With his extensive experience representing health plans, providers, and other healthcare entities in business transactions, before state and federal administrative agencies, and in court, Matthew Milone counsels clients in complex healthcare and insurance law issues. He has trial experience at both the state and federal levels in Nevada and California, and has argued appeals before the Ninth Circuit and the Nevada Supreme Court. He is a Georgetown University alumnus and received his J.D. from Tulane University.

Wayne R. Nippe brings more than 20 years of broad experience in the healthcare and health insurance fields, offering a wide range of legal services to primary care physicians, specialty physicians, physician extenders, nursing professionals, clinical operations managers and managed care organizations. In the health insurance realm, Nippe has counseled clients on a variety of product lines including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Rx, HMO group and individual, PPO and self insured. He has also handled health insurance regulatory matters and provided counsel to provider credentialing bodies, quality assurance committees and utilization management professionals. He received his J.D. from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific.
