Holland & Hart is proud to announce that for twelve consecutive years, the firm has been awarded U.S. Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF). This year, 32 US law firms and five UK firms achieved 2022 Gold Standard Certification. Holland & Hart is one of only six firms to receive this recognition every year since WILEF began the award in 2011.
WILEF grants Gold Standard status to law firms in the US with more than 300 practicing attorneys and 100 or more attorneys in the UK that meet objective criteria concerning the number of women among equity partners, in firm leadership positions, and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners. This year, Holland & Hart is one of 19 firms to have met all six criteria.
For 2022, US Gold Standard Certification was awarded to firms that met both of the following mandatory criteria:
- 25% of equity partners or, alternatively, 40% of the attorneys becoming equity partners during the past twelve months are women
- 10% of women equity partners are women of color, or 4% of women equity partners are LGBTQ
and at least two of the following four criteria:
- 20% of firm and US branch office heads are women
- 25% of the firm’s primary governance committee are women
- 25% of the firm’s compensation committee or its equivalent are women
- 20% of the top half of the firm’s equity partners in terms of compensation are women
