Holland & Hart Achieves ISO/IEC 27701 Certification for Privacy Information Management

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce it has achieved ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification for its Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) practices after receiving third-party accreditation from the International Standards Organization (ISO). In addition, the firm has recertified its ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) practices. Obtaining this certification is just one of the many initiatives the firm is undertaking to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our clients' information.

ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is a PIMS standard published in August 2019 by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

MSECB is an ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board to perform PIMS 27701 certifications. Following an extensive audit process, MSECB certified that Holland & Hart has technical controls and formalized Privacy policies and procedures in place. The certification confirms the firm has implemented privacy measures and countermeasures that protect it from unauthorized access or compromise; and the firm's IT personnel were found to be conscientious and knowledgeable in privacy best practices.

This certification demonstrates Holland & Hart's continued commitment to privacy and information security and ensures that the privacy and security of client data and information has been addressed, implemented, and properly controlled in all areas.
