Health Law Webinar - Discharge Planning: Requirements of the Final Rule

On September 26, 2019, CMS issued the final Discharge Planning Rule that modifies the requirements for discharge planning for hospitals and extends the requirements to critical access hospitals ("CAHs") and home health agencies. The rule also affects other skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute care providers by implementing IMPACT Act data reporting requirements and requiring hospitals to provide information about post-acute care providers.

This webinar will:

  • Review the new rules for hospitals and CAHs
  • Review requirements for HHAs
  • Confirm timelines and "to do" items for affected entities
