Employment Law Alliance Membership Extended to 100 Countries

Denver (March 19, 2009) - The Employment Law Alliance announced today that it has reached a significant milestone, achieving representation in more than 100 countries. Recent additions of legal professionals from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Isle of Man, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan bring the total number of represented countries to 103, allowing the ELA to offer local legal services in more jurisdictions than almost any global law firm.

Jude Biggs, a labor and employment partner in Holland & Hart's Denver and Boulder offices and the Colorado representative of ELA, said, "With ELA members in all 50 states and its extension to more than 100 countries, we can offer our labor and employment clients quality legal service throughout the U.S. and beyond with confidence. For instance, we can make sure we coordinate layoffs in multiple locations quickly and in a way that complies with each state's law and the local law of countries around the world."

"Extending our presence to more than 100 countries enables us to offer multi-national clients the unique ability to serve their global labor needs with the local expertise and knowledge required not just in major cities, but in outlying areas as well," said Stephen J. Hirschfeld, Esq., CEO of the ELA.
