Emily C. Schilling Joins Holland & Hart's Washington D.C. Office
WASHINGTON D.C. (October 6, 2008) - Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that Emily Schilling has joined the firm's D.C. office as an associate.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Schilling was an associate with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, and Feld for five years working in the areas of environment, land use and climate change. While there, she provided advice on issues ranging from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s renewable fuel standards for biofuels, to the impact of recent Clean Water Act jurisprudence on proposed development projects. Schilling also has represented clients in complex environmental litigation in both state and federal courts and counseled clients on strategy for congressional hearings involving the environmental impacts of hydrofracturing as well as formaldehyde levels in FEMA trailers.
Schilling earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law, cum laude, her Masters of Public Policy from Duke University and her B.A. from Bowdoin College, magna cum laude.
