DOL Overtime Webinar – What Employers Need to Know

Your white collar workers may no longer be exempt under the new final overtime rule published by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) on May 18th. The DOL’s final rule raises the salary thresholds for most white collar exemptions, including for highly compensated employees. With the changes going into effect on December 1, 2016, you need to decide now how to handle current exempt employees who may not meet the requirements under the new rules.

Please join us on June 8th at 12 PM MT for a timely webinar on the most significant change to wage and hour law in the last decade. Attorney Jeff Johnson will offer practical guidance and insights on:

  • The new salary levels and how automatic adjustments will be made
  • How the new overtime rule will impact employers
  • Options for how to address current exempt employees who don’t meet the new requirements
  • Avoiding liability for misclassifications
  • Practical tips for rolling out pay changes to employees
