Debra Hindin-King Takes on New Leadership Role for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations

Denver (April 13, 2010) – The National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) has appointed Holland & Hart’s Debra Hindin-King as the Federation’s 2010 Chair of the strategic planning committee.

The appointment as includes oversight of the NFPA Board’s implementation of the Federation’s Strategic Plan. The strategic plan will continue to guide the direction and future endeavors of NFPA and will also set both short-term and long-terms goals in specific areas. The committee includes NFPA representatives from across the country who meeting quarterly to review updates to the plan and to identify processes for plan implementation.  Most recently a comprehensive survey was taken of the NFPA membership to determine strengths of the organization and additional benefits sought by the members.

Hindin-King has also served in various leadership roles with the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association (RMPA) and formerly on the Board of NFPA. She was most recently recognized as the NFPA 2009 Paralegal of the Year. She has been a litigation paralegal for 21 years.

Hindin-King is a frequent speaker at both local and national conferences on topics including technology, trial preparation and the utilization of paralegals. She is a frequent contributor to local and national trade publications.
