David Hyams and Cheryl Thompson Join Holland & Hart's Boise Office

BOISE (August 18, 2008) - Attorneys David Hyams and Cheryl Thompson joined the Boise office of Holland & Hart LLP, the largest law firm based in the Rocky Mountain West.

Hyams is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Before joining Holland & Hart, he interned for Chief Judge Larry J. Naves of the Second Judicial District of Colorado. He was also an intern for the Justice & Mercy Legal Aid Clinic. In addition, as a clerk at Arckey & Reha, LLC, for more than two years, he gained substantial litigation experience in employment and business matters. Hyams earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He also earned a M.A. in philosophy from Georgia State University and a M.A. in philosophy of religion from Denver Seminary. He received his B.S. in sports medicine from Colorado State University.

Thompson is an associate in Holland & Hart’s business entities and transactions practice. She has a broad range of experience in various corporate matters, including private and public company mergers and acquisitions, commercial and intellectual property transactions, private equity financings, securities and investment fund evaluation. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Thompson served as an associate in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices of Bingham McCutchen LLP. She earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and her B.A. from Tufts University.
