COVID-19: Montana

Restrictions on Private Business Operations

  • The Governor ordered a broad closure order for non-essential businesses, including bars, restaurants, theaters, coffee shops, health clubs/gyms, pools, and similar enterprises.

  • Restaurants may remain open for delivery and takeout orders.

Health Care Provisions

  • The Medicaid program issued a bulletin allowing reimbursement for telemedicine services provided by video or audio telecommunications.

Support for Impacted Businesses

  • We are aware of no such program at this time.

Support for Impacted Workers

Travel Restrictions and Advisories

  • The Governor has requested that individuals who have traveled internationally self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in Montana.

Current Status of Legislature

  • Unless a special session is called, the Legislature will not convene until January, 2021.
