Colorado Governor Appoints Holland & Hart's Diego Hunt District Court Judge

Gov. John Hickenlooper appointed Holland & Hart’s Diego Hunt to serve as a judge in the 1st Judicial District, which includes Gilpin and Jefferson counties, effective June 1.  Diego has over 17 years of litigation experience helping clients resolve complex domestic and international products liability, torts and business disputes, and currently practices in the firm’s commercial litigation practice.

In addition to building a challenging and successful practice, Diego has embodied the firm’s commitment to community and pro bono work, dedicating hundreds of hours of pro bono legal services and through leadership with the Mi Casa Resource Center, the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado, the Conflict Center, and other nonprofits. He has also been a tireless advocate for the Hispanic and other diverse communities, serving in multiple leadership positions for the CHBA, the Denver Latino Commission, and the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Steering Committee, among others. Last year, Diego was honored with the CHBA’s coveted Chris Miranda award.
