Centralized Solar for Electric Generation

February 13-14, 2008
Denver, CO - Grand Hyatt

This two-day conference addresses the transmission and land-use challenges that utilities will face as solar power grows to be an increasingly attractive power source. Conference speakers will address the status of solar technologies, performance requirements, power purchase agreements, selling RECs versus selling energy, load matching and storage, siting and transmission, virtual systems, and how solar differs from wind.

Featured on the program is Holland & Hart attorney Sandra Velasco, who will present a session entitled "Sun vs. Wind vs. Water: Elements of RPS Solar Power Purchase Agreements", which will provide attendees with a state overview of renewables, address the solar component of RPS, and discuss the impact on development as well as outline the basic elements of the power purchase agreement and provisions requiring adaptation for solar. Presented by Electric Utility Consultants, Inc.
