California Climate Change Law

CLE International presents "California Climate Change Law: Legal, Policy and Business Issues" in San Francisco for two days on August 23-24, 2007, at the Grand Hyatt.

Conference attendees will learn about California's AB 32 and other regulations are being implemented, how emerging technologies will affect the economic considerations of climate change, how California fits into federal and international efforts, what litigation strategies are being developed, and how cap-and-trade programs are affecting the climate change landscape. Holland & Hart attorney James Holtkamp will discuss business strategies and the practical implications of business climate change policy on potential liability, earnings, and public relations. A keynote presentation will be given by Linda S. Adams, Secretary for Environmental Protection.
