Bryan Benard and Mickell Jimenez Discuss DEI Initiatives in the Workplace on Human Capital Innovations Podcast

Holland & Hart employment law partners Bryan Benard and Mickell Jimenez joined Human Capital Innovations (HCI) podcast host Jonathan H. Westover, PhD, to discuss companies’ efforts to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, including expanding the hiring pool of applicants, retention initiatives, and mentoring. Bryan Benard shared, “companies provide better services when there is diversity of thought, diversity of background, diversity of experience, diversity of skill set.” Mickell Jimenez added, "in addition to creating a more inclusive workplace, there is real value and science behind the fact that when we have more people at the table who bring diversity – better ideas come forward, that results in better products and that increases the bottom line.” The episode, “Legal Considerations of Workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives,” aired Feb. 23.
