Health law attorney Kim Stanger will join a webinar hosted by the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians to explain Idaho’s several abortion laws; summarize the status of pending challenges; and offer suggestions for healthcare providers and facilities balancing the need to care for patients with the law’s vague limits.
 
Among other things, Kim will discuss the EMTALA exception; affirmative defenses; appropriate patient conversations and documentation to minimize liability; and potential legislative action to fix the often confusing and conflicting statutory scheme.
