DENVER (August 22, 2008) - The Women’sVision Foundation announced Holland & Hart partner Anne Castle as a recipient of its prestigious "Woman of Vision" award, which is given to one corporate woman who has demonstrated positive, enlightened leadership at her company and actively promoted the advancement of women both within her organization and her community.
Castle is a practitioner in water rights law with more than 27 years of experience in Holland & Hart's Denver office. She formerly chaired the firm's management committee and also led the natural resources department. She has been a strong advocate for addressing the issues that women face in the workplace and the promotion of women to management and leadership positions in the firm. In addition, Castle is involved with many community organizations, particularly those providing legal assistance to Colorado citizens who could not otherwise afford it, including Colorado Legal Services, Legal Aid Foundation, and the Colorado Lawyer Trust Account Foundation. In 2007, Governor Ritter appointed her to the South Platte River Task Force.
The Tribute Awards, including Castle's "Woman of Vision" honor, are presented at the Women’s Success Forum, the Women’sVision premier annual event. Organizers are expecting more than 1,300 attendees this year. The event will be held on October 22, 2008, at the Colorado Convention Center.
