Adrienne Bell Named a 2026 TerraLex Trailblazer

Holland & Hart is proud to announce that real estate and renewable energy partner Adrienne Bell has been named a 2026 TerraLex Trailblazer. In celebration of Women's History Month, TerraLex recognized 18 exceptional leaders from across its global network who are driving innovation, strengthening their organizations, and making a meaningful impact within the legal profession and beyond.

Adrienne exemplifies the trailblazing spirit that TerraLex celebrates, having carved out a pioneering role at the intersection of real estate law and renewable energy development while simultaneously breaking down barriers for women in the legal profession. Her unique background as an urban planner, development director, and partner brings innovative thinking and a diverse perspective to complex legal challenges.

As one of the leading renewable energy attorneys in the Mountain West, Adrienne has been instrumental in shaping the legal landscape for utility-scale solar, wind, energy storage, and emerging hydrogen projects across the United States. Her work spans from early-stage site control through commercial operations, handling transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including serving as lead counsel on a portfolio sale supporting 48 utility-scale solar projects with over 690 MW of capacity. Her expertise extends beyond traditional legal practice, as she regularly secures state and local tax incentives, navigates complex public lands issues, and represents clients before regulatory commissions.

What truly sets Adrienne apart is her commitment to lifting others while building the legal community. After joining Holland & Hart in 2015, she became a partner in just four years. She was elected by her peers to serve on the firm's five-member Management Committee and currently chairs the firm's Strategic Growth Committee. Her recognition with the Utah State Bar's Paul T. Moxley Mentor Award in 2024 reflects her dedication to developing the next generation of attorneys, particularly women entering the field of commercial real estate law. As Past Chair of Salt Lake City's Planning Commission and the Redevelopment Agency's Advisory Committee, she has used her expertise to shape policy and drive positive community change. She is an active member of CREW Utah and provides pro bono counsel to Utah Clean Energy to help accelerate the state's clean energy transformation.
