Persuasive Litigator Blog Among Top 100

Persuasive Litigator Blog Among Top 100

Holland & Hart’s Persuasive Litigator blog again has been listed as one of the top 100 legal blogs by the ABA Journal in its annual Blawg 100. The blog was selected from among more than 4,000 blogs listed in the ABA Journal’s Blawg directory. This is the fourth time the blog has been listed.

The ABA Journal is asking readers to vote for their favorite blogs on the list, and Persuasive Litigator is currently in first place in the Litigation category. To register and vote, visit http://www.abajournal.com/blawg100. Voting ends at close of business on Dec. 19.

Persuasive Litigator aims to provide litigators and other devotees of legal persuasion with practical tips and innovative litigation strategies spanning pretrial and trial phases, for jury, bench, and arbitration settings.

Lead author Dr. Ken Broda-Bahm is a Senior Litigation Consultant with Persuasion Strategies, a Service of Holland & Hart LLP. Contributors also include Dr. Kevin Boully, Dr. Karen Lisko and Dr. Shelley Spiecker. Holland & Hart is the only law firm in the country with a full-service team of nationally recognized trial consultants and graphics professionals of its size, whose services are offered to in-house counsel and law firms nationwide.

The ABA Journal Blawg 100 listing has this to say about Persuasive Litigator: “There's plenty of advice out there for trial attorneys, but what makes the Persuasive Litigator stand out is its use of data and statistical studies on jury behavior. Ken Broda-Bahm writes in a concise and readable style, and his posts are interesting not only for litigators, but also for anyone with an interest in jury psychology.”

In nominating the blog, Senior Trial Attorney Wes Wagnon described the blog as “a consistently high-quality, thoughtful blog that draws from a wide variety of psychological studies and other good sources, combined with the writer's considerable experience as a trial consultant. The writer brings a fresh point of view to his topics, not just a rehash of the same stuff we've heard from many others. Stimulates your thinking, which is what a blog should be about.”
