Holland & Hart Wins Utah State Bar Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year Award

Holland & Hart Wins Utah State Bar Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year Award
Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce that it has received the 2014 Pro Bono Publico Law Firm of the Year Award for pro bono and public service activities from the Utah State Bar.

The Pro Bono Publico Awards recognize those who have provided or enabled the direct provision of legal services, free of charge, for Utah’s most vulnerable citizens, including people living in poverty, individuals with disabilities, veterans, seniors, minorities, and victims of domestic violence. To qualify, the firm must have made such contributions primarily through organized pro bono programs, legal services programs (as defined by current federal poverty guidelines), or has worked with such organizations to improve the delivery of legal services to the poor. The 2014 win marks the third time in six years that Holland & Hart has been awarded the Pro Bono Publico Law Firm of the Year Award.

Holland & Hart is consistently ranked among the top firms in the nation for its pro bono work and commitment to providing legal and civic pro bono services to those who would otherwise go without legal aid. On average, attorneys in the Salt Lake City office commit roughly 10% of their chargeable hours to pro bono and public service each year. Throughout 2013, 100% of the attorneys in the Salt Lake City office engaged in pro bono legal and pro bono civic service.
