Holland & Hart construction partners Tim Gordon and Sean Hanlon spoke with Law Week Colorado for the “Best Lawyers: Construction – Changing Currents in Construction” feature. They discussed challenges for government and private contractors in keeping up with evolving employee COVID vaccine requirements at the city, state, and federal level and the difficulty of obtaining proof of vaccination from construction industry employees. From their experience counseling construction industry clients, the partners share that supply shortages and price escalations are causing renewed focus on including contract clauses to address feasible delays, price escalation, and force majeure.
