Holland & Hart is pleased to announce Juan Obregon, an associate in the firm’s Denver office, has been elected to serve as Treasurer of the Colorado Bar Association Labor Employment Law Section for the 2022-23 term.
The Labor Employment Law Section seeks to foster a congenial community among its members and promotes the exchange of ideas on the developing law in the field through a series of topical luncheons, attempting to present both employer and employee perspectives, and the occasional co-sponsorship of seminars with other organizations in the field. The committee is composed of attorneys interested in the various areas included in the field of labor and employment.
In his practice, Juan counsels employers on workforce management issues and helps clients resolve disputes and mitigate risk. He also has experience litigating ERISA claims, and frequently provides advice and counsel on wage and hour issues, independent contractor issues, and non-compete agreements.
