In our Healthcare Compliance Webinar Series, designed for the healthcare and life sciences industry, we will address compliance issues that frequently impact administrators, compliance officers, HR specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
42 CFR Part 2 imposes stringent restrictions on the use and disclosure of substance use disorder (SUD) records. The regulations were amended in 2020, but we anticipate additional amendments to be announced soon to satisfy statutory mandates under the CARES Act. During this program, we will:
- Update attendees on recent developments
- Review changes to the regulations required by the CARES Act
- Discuss who is covered by Part 2
- Address Part 2 requirements for Part 2 programs and others who receive Part 2 information
