Tara Martens Miller Elected DRI State Representative for Idaho

Holland & Hart’s Tara Martens Miller has been elected Defense Research Institute (DRI) State Representative for Idaho by the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), for a three-year term. In this role, Martens Miller will facilitate the flow of communication between DRI and IADC, including reinforcing the partnership, enhancing the state and national voice of the defense bar, and having the opportunity to discuss the current trends and challenges faced in the field of defense and commercial litigation.

DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation. DRI is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness and professionalism of defense lawyers; anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system; promoting appreciation of the role of the defense lawyer; and improving the civil justice system and preserving the civil jury.

Martens Miller has been an active member of DRI serving on the Employment and Labor Law Committee, Commercial Litigation Committee, and as a State and Local Director/Officer. In her practice, she counsels clients on a wide spectrum of business, real estate, and employment disputes and transactions. Martens Miller is an experienced litigator and counselor, representing clients in state and federal court in business, corporate, real estate and complex disputes and transactions.
