Steven T. Collis, a civil litigator who also chairs Holland & Hart’s Religious Institutions and First Amendment group, appeared as a guest on HearSay - Law Week Colorado’s podcast series on Jan. 8. Collis discusses several 2018 First Amendment cases, including the Colorado Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission case, and provides insight that the core arguments in cases involving religious freedom haven’t fundamentally changed over the U.S.’s history.
