Staff FAQ

What kind of training is provided to new employees?

Each new employee is oriented to the firm, the office, and his/her department or position. We find on-the job -training, with ongoing support from supervisors and/or secretarial buddies, is the most effective way to learn. In-person training classes are held as needed and topic-specific segments are always available through our online Learning Management System.

How long is the work week?

We work a 37.5 hour week. Start and end times are usually 8:00 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5:00, but may be altered based on the needs of the position. A few part-time positions are also available.

What benefits are available to employees?

The firm offers a generous employee benefits package, including medical/dental insurance, life insurance, PTO, personal leave, flexible spending account, retirement plan, 401(k), education assistance, Employee Assistance Program, vision care, short term disability, and long term disability.

What kind of resources and support are provided?

In the Denver office, there are many centralized support services on-site, such as copying, supply room, messengers, conference room hostesses, billing, accounting, library, file clerks, office clerks, PBX operators, reception, mail and fax delivery, word processing, travel agent, marketing, and technical support. Some of these services (e.g., billing, travel agent, etc.) are also available to our other offices, but some are confined to the Denver office for physical reasons (e.g., conference room hostesses, mail and fax delivery, etc.). Regardless, a spirit of teamwork and cooperation is present in all offices, enabling everyone to get the help they need to do their jobs effectively.

What kind of parking is available?

Parking varies by office and where payment is required, it is the responsibility of the staff member. The RTD Eco Pass is offered at a discounted rate and parking expenses can be paid for with pre-tax dollars.

What career growth and development opportunities are available?

The firm pays for employees to attend job related seminars and workshops when approved by a  supervisor. Tuition reimbursement for further education is also sometimes available. We encourage  staff to attend in-house training on computer skills, software, and other career enhancement opportunities.
