Patent Docketing Specialist

Requirements:

Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer works with a team of information technology professionals and software engineers providing enterprise technology services to a geographically distributed nationwide user base.  This role will be the primary resource in the implementation and on-going support of the enterprise server and storage both on premises and Cloud based environments at Holland & Hart.
This individual will work closely with end users, development teams, and project teams in the initiation, planning phases, and on-going support of business and technology projects. These activities include the definition of requirements, benefits, and technical strategy, research & development, technical analysis and design, and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.  This role will also collaborate and expand the dev-ops capabilities within the firm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, configure, build, and document systems for use by the IT staff and end-users using security hardening standards.
• Implement and maintain a Cloud-based and on-premise hybrid server environment including template creation, deployment, virtual server maintenance, virtual networking creation, micro-services implementation support, resolving performance degradation, and resource management.
• Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems, hardware including routine maintenance, application software updates, CI-CD, etc.
• Participate in IT procurement process and manage inventory of equipment components, and application software; including installing upgrades, patches, new application software, equipment, and decommissioning of obsolete equipment and application software.

DevOps Engineer

The DevOps engineer is responsible testing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based and hybrid cloud software applications and machine learning pipelines. This role works within an agile development team, collaborating with developers and data scientists to decrease friction for the team through streamlined processes and automation. The areas of support fall into three areas:

  1. Cloud deployment – configuration, monitoring, and support of cloud-native, micro-service architecture
  2. Machine Learning Data Pipelines – develop data flow pipelines to support continuous learning applications.
  3. Continuous Integration/Deployment – support automated, low-friction testing and deployment workflow.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create data flow pipelines to support machine learning applications
  • Develop automated workflows to support single-click and/or no-click deployments CI-CD
  • Create automated integration and property-based testing infrastructure

Records Specialist
