Nevada Population Health Conference:
The conference will explore innovative population health programs by the private and public sectors to improve the health of Nevadans. Population health focuses on groups of individuals and considers the many elements that, in addition to healthcare services, contribute to a person’s health. These elements include public health programs, social factors (income, education, employment, social support, and culture) the physical environment (urban design, clean air and water), genetics, and individual behavior.

Support Medical Legal Partnerships:
We are working to create Medical Legal Partnerships (MLP) in Nevada. An MLP is a partnership of civil legal service providers and healthcare providers that facilitates the delivery of pro bono legal services to vulnerable populations in a clinical setting with the overall goal of improving a patient’s health. We encourage attendees to make a tax deductible donation to the Nevada Bar Foundation to make grants to pro bono legal service providers to support medical legal partnerships here in Nevada. The Nevada Bar Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support the provision of legal services to the financially-challenged, victims of domestic violence, children protected by or in need of protection of the juvenile court, and to support law related education. To make a donation please visit www.nevadabarfoundation.org/.
