Kristin Nichols Selected Chair of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Young Professionals Committee

Kristin Nichols, an Environmental and Natural Resources attorney in Holland & Hart’s Denver office, was selected to be Chair of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (RMMLF) Young Professionals Committee for the 2022-2023 term. The Young Professionals Committee works on initiatives to provide opportunities for engagement and increase participation of young professionals in the Foundation. RMMLF is a collaborative, educational, non-profit organization dedicated to the scholarly and practical study of the laws and regulations relating to oil and gas, mining, energy, public lands, water, environmental and international law.

An active member of RMMLF since 2014, Kristin previously served as the Vice Chair of the Young Professionals Committee since 2020. Kristin’s practice focuses on representing energy and natural resource clients in litigation and compliance matters related to project development. She protects her clients’ interests by challenging federal agency regulations and permitting decisions, as well as defending project approvals, and helps clients navigate complex federal and state regulatory processes.
