Mr. Anderson directs Holland & Hart’s Government Affair group and maintains a national legal practice focused on corporate compliance, government relations, and political law matters.
Mr. Anderson’s corporate practice includes advising clients on compliance with U.S. and international laws. He regularly advises international corporations on anti-corruption laws and recently developed and implemented an international compliance program for one of the world's largest mining companies.
Mr. Anderson’s political and election law practice includes representing corporations, non-profits, and candidates on federal, state, and local activities. In the current election cycle, Mr. Anderson represents members of the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, a U.S. presidential campaign, non-profit organizations and multiple Super PAC’s and 527 committees. Mr. Anderson spends extensive time in Washington D.C. supporting his political and government affairs practice.
Mr. Anderson’s government practice is focused on high stakes matters before federal, state and local government. Utilizing both his legal and government affairs expertise, Mr. Anderson develops and implements a comprehensive approach to serve his client’s best interests before federal and state agencies and elected officials.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Mr. Anderson served as Chief Counsel to Colorado Governor Bill Owens where he directed a wide range of legal, policy, and legislative matters. His office was responsible for managing and directing state litigation, state contracts, appointment of state judges, executive orders, the governor's disaster emergency and response program, and implementing state legal and policy initiatives on a wide variety of matters.
Previously, Mr. Anderson maintained a private practice with two Colorado law firms where his practice focused on federal and state regulatory law and government affairs.
