Joe guides sports organizations, world-class venues, influencers, media conglomerates, and technology companies through complex transactions that build and protect brand value.

Joe specializes in intellectual property transactions involving the licensing of athlete, celebrity, and influencer name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights, particularly in the context of marketing and sponsorship deals. He also drafts, analyzes, and negotiates complex license, services, partnership, development, distribution, and other intellectual property and commercial agreements.

Joe also has experience advising private investment funds, public companies, and private companies in connection with entity formation, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, and operations.

Before joining Holland & Hart, Joe was an associate at Covington & Burling LLP and Cooley LLP in Silicon Valley.
