Holland & Hart's Larry Prince and Terry Hancock Receive Exemplary Service Awards

Awarded by the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that attorney Larry Prince and legal secretary Terry Hancock were selected to receive Exemplary Service Awards by the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for their outstanding service to the Chapter. The awards will be presented at the U.S. District Court Bench-Bar Conference on Oct. 26, 2018 in Boise.

The Exemplary Service Award was established in 2008 to recognize federal practitioners, court staff, and non-attorneys who have consistently demonstrated professionalism, collegiality, service, mentoring, and providing quality legal representation consistently throughout their careers.

Larry has been serving as the Chapter Treasurer for twelve years, providing “solvency and stability of the Chapter’s finances,” noted by the Chapter’s Executive Board. As a recognized lawyer in Idaho and nationwide, Larry represents secured creditors and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and in complex credit transactions. His clients include banks, commercial lending institutions, leasing companies, and other financial institutions located throughout the United States. Larry also counsels clients on complex litigation matters, and has helped businesses resolve conflicts involving creditors' rights, contracts, construction, Uniform Commercial Code, and real estate litigation. He is actively involved with several other professional associations and committees, including the American College of Bankruptcy, Idaho State Bar, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Terry has been involved with the Chapter since she joined Holland & Hart eight years ago, assisting Larry with the Chapter treasurer duties and responsibilities, including the management and tracking of Chapter expenses on events like the annual Tri-State Conference and the Bench-Bar Conference, balancing accounts, coordinating monthly Chapter member emails, and filing necessary tax forms with the IRS, among other tasks. Terry’s legal assistant experience includes a combination of litigation and transactional work in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, and corporate matters.
