Holland & Hart Ushers in Four New Women Leaders

DENVER (Sept. 23, 2021)—Holland & Hart is pleased to announce that Nicole Snyder, Leslie Boyle, Jessica Schmidt, and Melissa Reynolds have recently been appointed to critical leadership roles for the firm.

Nicole Snyder, who has served as the Corporate Practice Group Leader since January 2020, is taking on the new role of Director of Finance and Operations. Bringing considerable business acumen from twenty years of experience advising businesses and serving in firm leadership positions, Snyder will guide and direct the financial activities of the firm to enhance profitability while protecting the firm’s assets and ensuring the integrity of financial records and reporting. She will also manage the firm’s real estate portfolio across all markets. Working closely with the firm’s Management Committee (MCOM), Snyder will implement adjustments to internal operations to support the firm’s strategic objectives and maximize efficiency. In recent years, Snyder has served in other significant leadership roles, including as a member of the firm’s most recent Strategic Planning Committee, a term on MCOM, and as Administrative Partner managing the firm’s Boise office.

Partner Leslie Boyle is now serving as the Corporate Practice Group Leader. Boyle’s practice focuses on advising developers of large infrastructure projects, including renewable energy projects and oil and gas facilities, negotiating favorable contracts that meet clients’ specific transactional needs and serve broader strategic business interests. Boyle has also served in important firm leadership roles. As co-chair of the Women’s Forum since 2017, Boyle spearheaded policies and initiatives that support women lawyers in their professional development, including co-chairing the committee that rewrote the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Plan. As a member of firm’s Recruitment Committee for many years, Boyle helped enhance the firm’s recruitment strategy. For many years, she has also been a valued supervisor and mentor to developing professionals.

Boyle passes the leadership baton of the Women’s Forum to partner Jessica Schmidt and associate Melissa Reynolds. For 10 years, the Women’s Forum has served as a vital open forum—welcoming women and men across the firm—to raise and assist in the resolution of important issues. Through monthly meetings, events, trainings, and bi-annual retreats, the Women’s Forum empowers women lawyers in the development of business, their careers, and their lives. It also serves an important policy-making and advisory role to MCOM and other firm leaders. Schmidt has been actively engaged in the Women’s Forum and she mentors junior female associates. Deeply committed to pro bono work, Schmidt leverages her skills, time, and courtroom talents to represent individuals who might otherwise go without legal help. Since joining the firm two years ago, Reynolds has taken an active role in Women’s Forum discussions and she recently joined the firm’s Professional Development Well-Being Subcommittee.
