Holland & Hart Represents Magic Spoon in $85M Series B Financing

Holland & Hart represented Magic Spoon, a company which offers a wide range of nostalgic flavored cereal with healthier ingredients and zero added sugar, in its $85 million Series B financing round. The financing round was led by HighPost Capital, with participation from other investors, including Siddhi Capital, Coefficient Capital, Constellation Capital, Carter Comstock, and more. Celebrity investors include Shakira, Russell Westbrook, Halsey, The Chainsmokers, Nick Jonas, Amy Schumer, Odell Beckham Jr., and Nas.

The proceeds from the raise will be used to accelerate Magic Spoon’s rapid growth, expansion from 100% direct-to-consumer into retail, and amplify widespread brand awareness through continued use of its innovative approach to social media.

The Holland & Hart transactional team was led by food, beverage, and consumer products attorneys Chuck Cotter and Lauren Schoeffler, with assistance from attorneys Brett Bromann, Wes Lang, and Aisha May and venture analyst Candace Alai.
