Holland & Hart Represents BookClub in Series A Financing

Holland & Hart represented BookClub, a virtual platform created to connect author-led book clubs to readers, in its $20 million Series A financing round. The funding was led by Signal Peak Ventures with participation from other investors including GSV Ventures, Maveron, Backstage Capital, and Pelion Venture Partners.

The investment will allow BookClub to open its private beta, which includes thousands of readers, to the public by July. Along with opening up for business, BookClub is investing heavily in adding more authors to its platform.

The Holland & Hart transactional team was led by corporate partner Marc Porter, with assistance from Elizabeth Roberts, Kristiana Lubomirova, and Lori Argall.
