Holland & Hart attorney Hilary Vaughn has been selected by Boise Mayor Lauren McLean to serve on the Boise Citywide Advisory Committee (CAC) for the Zoning Code Rewrite. Hilary is one of 20 community members chosen for this two-year committee. Each member brings unique experiences and skills that will help shape the future of zoning in Boise.
The CAC comprises an array of members who are representatives of the city’s planning areas and demographics, as well as the various users of the city’s zoning code. In this role, Hilary and other CAC members will use their knowledge and experiences to make recommendations to the project team and elected officials.
Hilary brings a wealth of experience to the role. She previously served on a Citywide Advisory Committee that provided feedback to the City on its Design Review Guidelines and served as a member of the City of Boise Design Review Committee from 2013-2018. She has been actively involved with the Urban Land Institute in Idaho since 2006, serving on the Advisory Board and as Chair of the Programs Committee; is a past Secretary/Treasurer, Vice Chair, and Chair of the Idaho State Bar’s Real Property Section; and was the Legislative Committee Chair of the Idaho Land Title Association from 2015-2017. In her practice, Hilary helps clients navigate complex real estate, financing, and corporate transactions.
