David Williams represents clients in high-stakes matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts and in international arbitration.
David has worked on ownership disputes, wildfire litigation, and intellectual property disputes on behalf of an array of clients that include entrepreneurs, technology companies, and electric utilities.
David is committed to giving back to his community and having an active pro bono practice, including representing a death row inmate on appeal to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and a prisoner asserting a Section 1983 claim before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
David worked for the Honorable William T. Thurman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah and the Office of University Counsel at the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, David worked at a major international law firm and at a litigation boutique in Southern California.
