David guides clients through the federal and state permitting processes necessary to develop and implement energy and resource projects.
David focuses his practice on environmental and natural resource litigation, natural resource project development, state and federal rulemakings, environmental compliance, and commercial litigation. His clients include oil & gas companies, public utilities and energy companies.
He helps clients secure and defend the permits necessary for their operations. David represents clients before stand and federal courts, and negotiates and defends civil enforcement actions on behalf of industrial clients. He also counsels companies pursuing business in Alaska on a wide range of matters, including corporate counsel, entity formation, commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, David was Counsel at Crowell & Moring, LLP. He also served as a law clerk for the Hon. James K. Singleton, Jr in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska.
