Brian Boerman

Of Counsel

555 17th Street, Suite 3200, Denver, CO 80202

Brian is a senior patent attorney who focuses on patent portfolio development, preparation, and prosecution for large technology clients with complex applications.

His practice chiefly spans the electrical engineering and standards-based wireless communications arts, while he also brings experience in medical device, financial services, and magnetic recording technologies.

Brian’s extensive background in patent litigation - particularly with respect to wireless communications - complements and informs his patent prosecution practice.  He brings significant trial experience in federal district courts , which has provided him with a broad perspective on the patent lifecycle and how to mitigate risk when drafting claims and narratives. Brian has also worked on a number of IPR petitions and numerous IP due diligence matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Brian practiced for eight years in New York City as a patent attorney for Baker Botts.
