Alex focuses her practice on all aspects of trademark law, working with brand owners of local start-ups and multinational corporations alike.
Alex guides her clients through the intricacies of foreign and domestic trademark portfolio management, enforcement, and litigation. She works closely with foreign counsel across the world to execute portfolio strategies that drive and protect brand value for her clients. When litigation is unavoidable, Alex is prepared to represent her clients before the TTAB and federal courts across the United States.
In addition to her trademark practice, Alex is an adjunct professor for the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at the University of Idaho College of Law, where she lectures on intellectual property law and prosecutes trademark applications with the USPTO on behalf of the program's clients.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Alex practiced intellectual property law and general litigation at Parsons Behle & Latimer and served as a law clerk to Justice Horton (retired) and Justice Moeller of the Idaho Supreme Court.
