Aaron is an experienced litigator who guides clients through strategic negotiations and dispute resolution. 

He has represented clients in various industries whose litigation needs include complex jurisdictional issues, antitrust litigation, fiduciary obligations, contract interpretation and enforcement, internal and regulatory investigations and enforcement actions by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Aaron is experienced in all phases of dispute resolution, including risk assessment, litigation avoidance, case strategy, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, negotiation, and settlement.

Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Aaron most recently worked as an associate at a boutique civil litigation firm based in Idaho. Before returning to his home state of Idaho, Aaron was a litigation associate in the Chicago office of a national law firm.

Commercial Litigation
  • Before joining Holland & Hart, some of the matters Aaron worked on include:

    • Successfully persuaded a California court to dismiss a contract dispute based on complicated jurisdictional issues – a significant monetary win for the agribusiness clients involved.
    • Successfully negotiated a settlement of over $1 million for an Idaho-based dairy supply company against an international chemical and mining company over a defective product.
    • Successfully defended a homeowner against a summary judgment motion on claims of breach of warranty of title.
